Cambridge Clinical Laboratories invest thousands in new equipment

Roche LC480 II

Cambridge Clinical Laboratories (CCL) is investing in new equipment to ready itself for expanding its current services, and introducing new options, in 2020. 

The first big investment is on a Roche LC480 II. The PCR platform will enable CCL to now provide real time PCR detection of up to 384 samples at once, enabling much faster and higher capacity testing than the company previously had.  

It’s an exciting move for the company who has recently been taken over and rebranded (formerly Lab 21). The investment shows the faith and desire to grow from the new owners Cambridge Pathology BV.
