The Covid-19 Volunteer Testing Network

CCL CEO, Dr Tony Cooke, has been supporting the Covid-19 Volunteer Testing Network, helping guide the group in the processes required to carry out testing, offering advice on operational processes and supporting labs with his extensive expertise in this area.

The mission of the group is to regularly test all front-line healthcare staff for COVID-19. The government is rapidly expanding the official testing programme and the Covid-19 Volunteer Testing Network is supplementing that effort by utilising smaller laboratories to conduct testing. Supporting these laboratories to set up logistics and processes so that they can provide same day results back to frontline NHS and Healthcare staff.
