CCL inspire North Cambridge Academy secondary science students during British Science Week
CCLis reaching out to our local secondary school, North Cambridge Academy, this British Science Week (5-14 March) and running a series of web chats for the school’s students to learn about working in a lab, and what it has been like for the lab to work in Covid testing.
Talking from CCL will be our CEO, Dr Anthony Cooke (pictured), who has over 40 years’ experience in the diagnostic industry. Joining him will be our Laboratory Technician, Nehal Ravaliya, who just recently graduated. Students will get a look into the lab and be able to grill Anthony and Nehal about the work they do and how they got to where they are now.
Dr Anthony Cooke, CCL CEO says: “We’re really looking forward to speaking with the student’s at North Cambridge Academy and hope we can show them the impact they can make by choosing a career in science.”
Natasha Dhari, North Cambridge Academy Science Teacher said: “A big thank you to CCL for taking the time to connect with our students. Talks like this bring our teaching to life and I’m sure will have a really positive influence on our students.”
